Swoogo
A brand identity for an award-winning event management platform
Since its humble beginnings in 2015, Swoogo has grown into an award-winning, best-in-class event management platform, with a 98.7% customer satisfaction rating and twenty million dollars in Series B funding. As we shifted our brand from “DIY-and-budget-friendly” to “bespoke and enterprise-centric,” this prompted the need for a strategic evolution in our visual branding.
My goal was to preserve the approachability and lightheartedness that has always been a trademark of the Swoogo brand, while still infusing it with credibility and maturity to help us level up in the industry.
Swoogo’s brand system draws inspiration from the energy of in-person events, the power of human connection, and the flexibility of an uber-customizable event management platform. Bright, bold colors and playful typography pair with sleek gradients and simple product graphics for an identity that feels approachable yet credible.
LOGO ANIMATION
This animation was executed by motion designer Diego Peña based on my creative direction + storyboard. It captures the playfulness of our brand, the energy of in-person events, and the spirit of connection. Although Swoogo is a reputable and trusted event management solution, we want to show our personality too—we aren’t just another soulless corporation.
